Organic and Natural Childcare For Your Little One
GBHD is dedicated to providing healthy and nutritious snacks and lunches. Organic and all natural food and milk is provided as much as possible. Foods cooked from scratch such as breads, muffins, sauces and soups are served often. GBHD participates in a local Community Supported Agriculture program (CSA) for meat and also has a small seasonal fruit and vegetable garden on the premises.
Meal times provide the opportunity for positive social interactions and the chance to develop important self helps skills such as using utensils and self feeding. A child is never forced to eat and is allowed alternatives if he/she does not liked what is served. Whenever possible child involvement is incorporated into food preparation and serving.
GBHD will try to accommodate any dietary needs or food restrictions your child or family has. GBHD is currently not a nut free program.
